As you said, easter egg has nothing to do with Jesus. It was probably just introduced by some people to enjoy themselves. So if you are a Christian, this practice will not be recorded in your account in heaven. Have a wonderful day to you!

Christians can make Easter eggs and participate in other Easter activities. There is a reason for Christians to celebrate Easter and as long as we keep that as the most important thing, there is nothing wrong with the other things. SOme have even used an egg as a way of explaining the Holy Trinity: three parts to one whole: father, son, holy spirt: yolk, white, and shell.

It is just to make the children happy and keep them out of mischief. I do not think that there was a similar tradition in Israel nor did Jesus or Paul the Apostle introduce it. I think it came from the Slavs who used eggs to symbolize the birth of Spring and it fitted nicely into symbolizing the birth of Christ and that of a new life. So the Christians in the early times took a pagan symbol and used it to illustrate Christ's resurrection.
