How to find the motive of life?

According to theology, fate is a predetermined path created by God, which is characteristic of any individual. It is said that we all are given some special abilities to complete the task we are sent for on Earth. Meditation, Spirituality, Yogas, practice, hardwork have all been explained as paths to complete the task. What do you feel? Are we really sent on Earth to complete some special task, God assigned us

According to me, God will not assign us any task. He will just show the different paths. We are given freedom to choose good or bad path. Those who select good path will reach him, but people who select bad path will be offered another life to prove again.

My common pet name is 'smiler' and i believe in trying to be the best i can be. So i dont talk bad about people. Im open minded about most anything, i dont lie, cheat or steal and i love life and people. I believe its good to have faith in the greater good, to be a good and helpful person, and
to enjoy the gift of life but i dont follow a religion. According to the preacher who came knocking at my door, Im going to hell because of these basic beliefs.
