O yea I think that butter helps make the food more tastier, in my opinion. I really do not make anything without using a little butter.

True, true it seems like everything i love is said to not be good for me. I can do without a lot of it mind you but butter no way, no substitute here only the real thing.

I use a lot of butter! I get it in 2 pound packages, hand churned by the Amish and wrapped in wax paper. When I use it for frying I mix it with olive oil to help balance out the saturated fat. I believe lots of cream and butter helps keep my skin moist and creamy smooth. Hehehehehe. Yep.

Plus if you're frying something in butter other than eggs or something like that, that is best cooked at low heat, if you want it crispy, well butter burns friggin' instantly, so that splash of olive oil, which will take higher heat without burning or losing it's flavor, helps to keep the butter from burning so fast too.

No, I actually use oil to cook with, being told it's healthier, and I use margarine for spreading, for the same reason. Now sitting here with these answers in front of me, I wonder why not using butter matters, especially because I'm not a health freak. So at lunch time, I'm eating my greasy bacon and eggs, with margarine spread on my toast because it's healthier, LOL!

When we do use butter, like with mashed potatoes..we use real butter, not margarine...We don't cook with it too much...I use butter on my toast, muffins and in macaroni and cheese..

I love butter. I can put butter on a piece of bread and eat it. If you can put butter on it, I do. Lots of it.

I prefer butter than margarine that's for sure. Nothing tastes better than butter even though it may not be very good for our bodies. All in moderation I say!

Yea I do understand what you mean on that one. It seems like we can not even live without butter. But we do all need to watch what we intake into the body.

I have to be honest I really do not like butter for the most part. Really the only thing that I use it on is my morning toast. other than that I dont really add it to any food, because i dont like the taste. It just tasts fatty to me. Well it is pretty much all fat LOL. Sometimes I will use that "I cant believe its not butter" spray. That one has like no calories and does not have that fatty taste.

I also love butter, and I always use butter instead of oil for cooking, always have! It makes the taste so much better somehow. But I love it on toast too, not melted into the bread but just so it is sitting on top, which is quite hard to do. I probably use butter way too much actually but who cares if the food tastes good!

I like to sue butter in sauteeing. Whenever I will sautee garlic and onions, I will use butter and just a little oil. I love the flavoe that the butter brings. Especially if I am making sauces, it gives it a nice flavor. I also use butter in roasted chicken to make it moist and flavorful. It also adds that golden color in roasted chiken. For me butter in general is a good option in sauteing, it provides wonderful flavor and aroma. Butter burns easily though that is why I make sure that I have my ingredients at hand.

Yes, I too believe that butter is better. Thats all we use at our house to cook, on toast, etc...
I think it is way healthier to eat something natural like butter than processed colored, flavored, corn oil margerine.

Yea butter is better. Natural is always better than artificial things I think.
