Useless of Informative

I have a lot of information rattling around up there, I generally store stuff others would choose to forget i.e. I can remember our home phone number from 30 years ago and my O'level exam number from 22 years ago, I know my pasport number, ok you might say Ive got a good head for figures, I hope so Im a stockmarket trader. But apart from that I can read a newspaper article and remember it for years, I call this useless information but my g/f calls it interesting information, whats your take on this? Do you remember things and generally have a good memory or are you like my G/f who cant remember what she bought me for Christmas lol
