If you have had one, what has been the most life-changing experience you have ever had? I believe that for some people it isn't just one thing that changes their lives, maybe it has been a number of events that changed their way of thinking and/or their way of living. So please do share, what has happened in your life that you would consider to be your most life-changing experience??

The life changing experience I have had is escaping abusive and manipulative ex! I thought I was stuck with my ex for life and I began to reach new depths of depression and I nearly lost my sanity, I guess things got so bad that I had to face it, I had to leave I had to get the strength to leave and I found the strength, I left everything behind, pets, my ex, the home and I started again, it was very difficult at first to adjust but with the help of my very dear friends and a therapist to help me come to turns with my life and how to forget the past I am moving on, slowly but surely and getting on with life again.

That is awesome that you pulled through to be a better and stronger person because of what you went through. A situation like the one you dealt with can be very depressing and very hard to pull ones self from. I am proud that you stayed strong and left it all behind!! Way to go! Thanks for the response and have a great day!

My second husband changed my life path. I was married to a jerk for 8 years and thought happiness was not acheivable well he showed me wrong. He helped me gain trust and strenght in god and now im happy for once in a long time. So I would have to thank My hubby and God of course for sending me an angel.

My most life-changing experience would have to be having children. Before I had my kids, I felt like my life was going nowhere and I didn't care where I ended up. When I found out that I was pregnant, everything seemed to change because I wasn't thinking of myself but the unborn baby that I was providing for. Then, they were born and my life revolved around them.. everything I did, I had to put them into consideration. My decisions were more thought out and I actually cared what the outcome would be.

I believe having children is a big one for many parents. I have three children myself, therefore, I do know and believe it certainly is life changing. I was 18 years old when I became pregnant with my first child. At that time in my life, I was not making the best choices and started drinking more than I should be...well once I found out I was pregnant, my life turned around. I knew I had to make better choices because I knew that whatever choice I made was going to affect my baby. So yes, getting pregnant for my first child, really did turn my life around. Thanks for the response. Have a great day!
