Thats a hard one. I have been quit for 247 days now, but I used Chantix. I tried to quit years ago and used Zyban but started 3 months later. My mom is trying to quit without any meds, she is just cutting back alittle each day. It really is about changing your habbits, I never believed that when I smoked, but its true. Good luck and do give up.

My aunt smoked for 40 years and swore that one session with a hypnotist cured her. It may be worth a shot.
I personally believe that you truly truly have to want to quit to be successful. You also need a network of support to help you quit.
I myself smoke but have no desire to quit even though I know it is a slow killer.
Good Luck!

Yes friend it is very much difficult to quit smoking who is a chain smoker. In my case it is bitter experience.I was smoking since my college life. After completing the college education I joined in an Office by that time also I was a smoker. One of my colleague challenged me that it is very difficult for a smoker to quit, I told him nothing is impossible , he given an open challenged with Rs.500/ bet . From that day I have stopped smoking but few days after quiting smoking I was sick . But to quit smoking positive thinking and will power is essential. If you determined then nobody can stop you. Now I am totally non-smoker since last 15 yrs and I can not tolerate smoker.

Some people quit smoking due to religious reasons. If you become active in the Christian Church that may help. The law of Christ prohibits smoking. The Word of God heals.
