Have you ever seen the Flower Festival of Baguio City in the Philippines? It is a wondrous 2 day event where tourist from all over the world view this lively, fun and very colorful festival held on the major streets of Baguio City. This festival is locally known as the "Penagbenga", the flower festival likened to the Rose parade in New York. Held every sometime on the 2nd or 3rd week of February, it is an event not to be missed. Photographers from all over view the event and fills their films and digital files with colorful photos to remember this place, Baguio!

I used to visit Baguio, too bad never seen the Panagbenga but I did in photos just some weeks ago!

I have never seen or heard of this festival but it sounds like it is something to see. If you have more pictures could you post them of the festival. I searched out the festival in the search engine and they would come up with it but I couldn't find any pictures. I would love to see what it looks like. I bet it is fantastic and a lot of fun.

hello po, for the first time i want to visit baguio with my husband and my mother on february 2009, we want to experience penagbenga festival, but me and my husband have only 1 month vacation in phils, we have so many things to do. So i want to know the exact date of penagbenga on feb 2009 so i put it in our schedule. pls response. maraming salamat po
