me, i dont mind sleeping with either lights off or on. as long as im comfortable with my bed and with my position, there would be no problem.

i sleep with the lights out and tv on too. i have a hard time sleeping when its quiet, but i set the sleep timer on the tv so i dont have to wake up to turn it off, or have it on all night.

I can't stand the lights on. The room has to be complete darkness. If I have a nap during the day I still put a nice thick blanket up at the window so that the room is pitch black. I keep that on all the time even when it's dark outside the blanket is still there. I do list it up to let light in during the day. I have been looking for blinds/shades that work as great as the blanket but haven't found any that have worked out yet. I can sleep with the light from the T.V. though. I know thats strange.

I am looking into getting a blind. My parents have a blind for their bedroom and it works great. I would steal it from them but it wouldn't fit our window. I am trying to find one like that. But haven't been able to so far.

I sleep with my lights off and I don't like to have any lights on in my room. I believe I would only sleep with any light on if I was really tired or something.

I always sleep with the lights turned off. I could not sleep when there are lights because it stresses my eyes. I can't even sleep during the day. I can only sleep with the lights turned on if I am really exhausted.

I usually sleep with the lights off, but the television on. If I wake up in the middle of the night I will turn it off. I just need it to fall asleep.

lol.. you made it as a habit already. what if you will experience brownout? which means no electricity to turn on your tv, can you still sleep?

My husband and I always sleep with the lights off. Why waste electricity on leaving lights on, when we are not using the lights? We do leave the TV or radio on so we can fall asleep listening to music, but we don't need to sleep with lights on.

I havent slept with the lights on since I was a kid! And even then I didnt! I dont think a big bad monster is going to get me. Sleeping with the lights on is childish!LOL

I always sleep with lights off, if in case I forgot turning it off, then I will leave as it is. I can't stand the light, I always prefer to be in a dim pr dark room. I only turn it on if I'm searching for something that I couldn't see in the dark, or when I am reading something..

I have to sleep with the lights off. I have to fall asleep that way too or I can't fall asleep as fast. I used to have to have the TV off too but I'm slowly changing my way.. so it doesnt matter if its on or off.

There is a dim light coming into my bedroom, as my son has a night light and is just across the passage from me. That took a bit for me to adjust to sleeping with, as I use to prefer darkness. Recently, I bought a new digital clock radio, and it hasn't got a dimmer switch, and even that is too bright, so I have to turn it into the bed head to stop it shining so brightly.

I can only sleep with the lights off. but once i had the lights on, merely because I felt like "something" in my room. you know, like spirits and stuffs. it frightened me somehow. funny huh? :)
