why do people drive so fast ?

"slow and steady wins the race" as this saying is out dated youth are going on an aggresive note...!

Everyone is always in a hurry, they do not care anymore about the risks that they take everyday of their lives, not just on themselves but innocent pedestrians too. I was crossing the road with my children, we have pedestrian crossings where you push a button and the lights go to red and then a little green man flashes to tell you to cross. How many times have I crossed the road at the right time only to have some nutter not stop coming from a distance and nearly hit us. I now wait until both sides of the traffic shows signs of slowing down and stopping before I even attempt to cross, even when the lights are on red. Because most of them do not stop when they are in a rush.

I drive fast cause I am comfortable with driving fast. Just because you drive fast doesn't mean that you are going to hurt yourself and others. What I can't stand are the people that drive wayyyy to slow. I am talking about the ones that go below the speed limit. If you can't drive the speed don't drive and stay off the road. Speed takes something with control. If you can control yourself and go over the limit what's the problem. Some speed limits that are posted are pretty dumb and need the speed increased.
