Will you particpate in Earth Hour?

Earth Hour is March 29 at 8:00 PM EST. I think it's a great gesture for everyone to turn off their lights for an hour to recognize the problem with climate change. I wish however it would be something people would do all the time to save energy. Will you participate in Earth Hour?

My daughter sent me an email about this just this morning and we decided that we'll both do it. The way I feel is every little bit helps.

We never ever use the power till we need to and if no one is in the room we shut off the light. We watch TV as most people do in the front room and all we use is a small light. I don't like a lot of light at any time. TV gets shut off when we're not using it as is the same with my computer. I'm with you, I wish everyone did the same.

I just heard about this a few days ago and was alarmed that no one in this town seemed to know about it then I heard it on the radio this morning so it looks like my little city in Canada will be doing their part. I certainly will. I realize how important it is for mother earth.

I just heard about Earth Hour this afternoon. It sounds like a fantastic idea and I will be participating. It is a shame there can't be a designated hour each week that people do this. This would increase awareness and have a real impact. The climate change is very concerning to me.
