Do you take Tramadol? How much...does it work?

I recently had surgery and am at the end of the Lortab narcotic. My doctor said that for pain I could now switch to Tramadol or Ultram brandname. Has anyone taken this and had success? If so, what is your dosage and how often do you have to keep taking it?

Ultram has been shown to be a successful medication in treating pain. Everyone will respond differently though. The effect may not be as strong as the pain relief of the Lortab but for most people it does help. Just discuss it with your doctor.
