Do you get inspired by reading successs stories of prominent people? Yes I do but again think how they made it? I always feel that we can motivate ourselves first by following examples of people who are usaround rather trying to know about the so called big people. My brother is my motivation and inspiration from my childhood.

I am totally inspired by movies based on true stories.Books do it too.I think we need something/one to set the spark and then we work with that inspiration.

I think that families and teachers and mentors are more important than any book when it comes to teaching us what it means to be a success and in instilling the confidence and the ahility to be a success. I had some really great teachers and mentors who paved the way for me career wise.
My parents and siblings guided too by word and example.
I was the first member of my family to get a Master's Degree so I did a little bit of leading too even though I am the youngest in the family.

I always felt inspired by my late sister. She came from humble beginnings, but she was able to go to a private high school on full scholarship, enter an Ivy League university and go on to law school. She worked for the federal government as counsel as well as in the assistant district attorney for the District of Columbia. She was able to eventually marry, have a son, a great career get sick and die from cancer within 43 years or living. I am also by others who can take what some say lemons and make lemonade. Randy Pausch was one. Barack Obama is another. Bill Clinton as well. among many others.

Believe it or not but the source of my inspiration growing up is poverty.. I grew up in a very poor family who don't have anything but ourselves. No fancy things or whatsoever. When I was in grade school, I started dreaming high and big.. I told myself that I will do my very best to succeed so I won't go through the same pattern of living we had.
I finish high school to my masters degree on my own.. It wasn't easy but I made it. I think that if you persevere and work hard, you can achieve whatever goals you set in your life. Just be positive and keep your faith to God and you will surely succeed.
All my classmates in college were crying when I shared my experiences in life during our recollection/retreat and told me that I am a sorce of inspiration to all of them.. I felt so good and proud of myself for not giving up despite of so many obstacles i encountered..
