we had a pet raccoon when i was a kid, and her main diet that we fed her was dog food. my brothers and i use to catch grasshoppers for her to eat, which she loved, but you prolly dont wanna go rangling bugs to bait yer trap with LOL try the dogfood, just the regular dry kind. good luck !

i would probably try to call the game commission or health department of your state - they will come get rid of them for you in most cases, especially if you tell them you suspect rabies or some other type of threat. if you want to handle it on your own though you could try cat food...we used to have racoons that would eat our cat's food all the time.
