Yes,of course. We generally wear glasses only when we have difficulty reading with normal eyesight. Why don't you try contact lenses?

My eye sight is also very poor.I have been wearing glasses for seven years .
when I got my first pair of glasses I felt quite exciting actually.but as time goes on ,I feel it is so inconvenient to wear glasses.
I' regretful that I didn't protect my eyes well.but It's late now

Hi there... I dont wear glasses as I have good eye sight, but if I carry on reading for long periods and in dim light I may have to wear some in the distant future, who knows. I think some glasses look neat anyway...

I like being beautiful ,so I try to never wear glasses when I was shopping or taking a walk .But when I was reading or watching tv I wore glasses because of my poor eyesight. But I really hate glasses very much .

I have astigmatism, my doctor said to wear glasses all the time. :D but after a year of using my glasses all the time, i found out it is better if I don't wear my glasses. So now, I only wear glasses when I can't focus on my reading or my head starts aching because of my eyes

I was told I have 20/20 vision, but have a problem with focus, especially when tired, so I wear glasses when reading, or when I'm on the computer. I have found that when I'm reading and the tv is on, if I look up from my book, I can't get the picture to focus properly and need to look over my glasses. I can still read perfectly well without my glasses, though at times the words all roll into one.

I wear my glasses almost all the time. I have only about 20/80 vision in my right eye, but it has always been bad. The nerves did not develop correctly in my right eye. I got along fine, though. I was always used to keeping my face close to whatever I was doing.
When I got my drivers license, they restricted me to glasses. When I was about 40 or so, my "good" eye, that had been 20/20 went far-sighted. That gave me one of each. lol So I wear glasses for almost everything. The last eye appointment I had, the doctor said I was getting cataracts. I guess that's from not wearing sun glasses like I should have.
Glasses can be a pain, but when you can't see, they are a miricle.
