did it turn out the way you expected? were you satified with the way you answered? were you nervous? and lastly we're you hired right away??? i just had my very first job interview yesterday. it was ok but i think i could have done better and i felt heat rising on my cheeks during some parts of it. good thing the interview was held in a coffee shop we're lights are quite low. i'm quite nervous but i felt quite comfortable with it. the interviewer said i need to train for 10 days, if i passed then i'm hired. the training was for free but they gave no allowance so i'm deciding against it. there were other firms that gives training allowances. please share something about your first ever job interview experience?

My first was really tough. i think i was really tensed... and i am just glad that it went very well. i remember i had a test, speed typing test, and they had my voice recorded when i was reading something.... they said they will call me and endorse me to the company they are servicing. so i thought i failed the test.. i got a call at about 8 pm on a weekend and asked me to go to a certain place for an interview. so that was really my first ever interview! there were a series of questions and the lady who interviewed me was intimidating!!! im glad i pulled it off and everything went fine... she offered a hand shake and congratulated me... he he i guess i reached for her hands and she smiled at me cause she must have felt how cold my hands were! haha

it was so long ago that I really do not know anything about it , my first job intervue was when I was 17 that was 36 years ago. I had to be nervous and probably made mistakes all the way through, I can't remember either if I was hired for the job, but I think I was,

I was 18 or 19 when I went for my first job interview and it wasn't that difficult compared to the ones I have had over the years. I had just left school and applied for a junior position at a Library and got the job. The questions were simple enough and because I learnt how to put my cv together and had interview practice at our school before I left, it was ok, a little nervous but I must of done good because I got the job. I was on probabation for 6 months and exceeded their expectations and was hired full-time thereafter. It was all on the job paid training too. Several years later after completing a correspondence Librarian certificate course, I was promoted 4 times thereafter and left the job 10 years later as a Senior Cataloguing Librarian.
