ive been there once, actually i just graduated from college . the feeling of going to college is much different from higschool, there are things that will unfamiliar to you, first the campus, the faculty, and the way of living is very different and especially when you alone to study in that university. things will be hard for you... you are lucky if it's just a few blocks from your home but if not, you have to learn to budget your allowance and again if you are rich then thats not a problem...
next is your study, you have to learn also to manage your priority, because that will really be a big problem if your grades will all going to fail, but don't worry if you can cope up with your study then your good, just be careful not to be influenced by some BI students. well at first, you will not know who are those BI but, just be careful.
If sometimes your grades will not be good as you expected ... well, just take time, anyway its a long way process, you will never learn if you always on top, i mean you need also to experience some trials... not?
in that way you can find your true self, and even understand others about their situations as well.
learn also to be competitive in terms of school activities, academics and in your major but be sure to stay your feet on the ground. you'll never know, you already hurt someone that is already close to you. in a way being competitive is a way to express your self to others not to be be afraid of them.
other thing, learn to develop a good relationship with your teacher, well not to act as a teacher's pet but just to be a good example. of course every activity in school should always stay in school. after school forget the hardship and relax a bit, just to relieve your self... this will also help you develop a good relationship with your future employer...
well, basically it's just going to school everyday, but the thing is you need to be practical because this is the time to be more ready with your future career...
the things that i wrote, those are the things i have gone through, i'm pretty sure that somehow you experience that..
i'm not an achiever nor an athlete, in short i'm just normal college student back then, just like you. but i hope somehow i shared a little experience with you... heheh
