what was the hard punishment you received when you are in school?

I was always a good little girl at school. I think the hardest punishment I received was being told off or perhaps moved away from my friends. But nothing more serious than that. I had a good reputation, and I actually hit one of the guys in my class with a book (I was 12 i think) and the teacher told the kid that he probably provoked me to do it!

I can say that the hard punishment that I got is not physical but emotional. This happened when I was in grade school. I was studying at an exclusive catholic girls school upto highschool. There is a teacher that has a reputation for being strict and lot of students can attest to that. Whar happened is I forgot to make the assignment, then when the teacher found out. She started shouting at me and saying remarks. Then she throw the eraser hard towards the window, to signify her anger. I was in grade six then, I canot exactly remember the words but I felt sorry for myself,I cried because of what she is saying and I was also afraid. I did not tell my parents about it because I don;t want to have another issue. I just prayed to God that I will be able to pass that year ,which I did. I was so happy when I graduated Grade school, because she will not be one of my teachers anymore.

I dont remember having recieved any punishment which had an impact on my mind. I was the school topper and all my teachers loved me for that. I was commited to my studies and also took part in activities especially dance competitions and never had to cut a sorry figure in school.

I remember a few times. In first grade my teacher spanked me because she told everyone to sit down. I was still standing up. Then in 4th grade. My teacher use to make the wgole class hold their ankles. I hated doing that I thought it was bad for her to punish the whole class this way.

schools near me aren't allowed to do anything like that-they'd be sued. i think the most punishment i'd gotten for something was 1 week's suspension.

When I was in fourth grade a boy and I were infatuated with each other. We were going to run away and get married, although neither of us had any idea what marriage really was. It was an innocent time and children back then (1963) had no idea that anything other than kissing and holding hands was involved! Anyway, we got into trouble when he gave me a bracelet. It was beautiful to me, just cheap rhinestones, but my teacher saw it and asked where I got it. Of course, I told her proudly! We were called to the principal's office, our parents were called and by the time my mom got there my boyfriend had already been paddled and it was going to be my turn. My mom raised hell! Because our only crime was him being black and me being white in a small town of horribly prejudiced people. I've never forgotten it or forgiven those monstrous people.

One of my teachers(mathematics) used to make hard and rough squeezing and pinching on the nose as a mode of punishment for pranks. It was really harsh and painful.

I do remember the punishment. His name was Sir. Pax, the most strict teacher we ever had. I was in grade II, just about 6 years old then. I literally forgot to do my science homework. What now? Sir.Pax first slapped me thrice on the same side of the cheek and then asked me to kneel down; and finished teaching a new chapter. Since I was kneeling, I could not pay attention to him. To my unfortunate fate, he asked me a question which I could not answer. He then made the punishment worser. He asked me to kneel down and ordered me to chew twigs (as for him I was a donkey). My greatest day in my life after this incident was when my father admitted me into a different school. I really felt very relieved after hearing this news.
