it's so hard to get along with the department manager

I'm a employee in a private company.I work hard and am respectful to my department manager.But i find he doesnt like me.He can be kind to most of other colleague,but not me.I heared that he like female employees and local people.But i'm not local man.I dont know how to change this condition.i'M try to seek new job.
