Former "Quincy, M.E." star Jack Klugman sued NBC Universal Friday, claiming the studio is lying about the show's profits and owes him money. Klugman, 85, played the crime-busting Dr. R. Quincy on the show from 1976 to 1983.I don't want their money. I want my money," Klugman told The Associated Press. "I worked my tail off. I got up at four in the morning and stayed at the studio. I did rewrite, I edited."
I hear alot about royalties these actors never receive. I think he should get his money. What do you think?

Many of the early singers and actors have ended up paupers because the they got the shaft when it came to getting what they earned.
Yes, Klugman should get what he deserves.
I wonder why after all these years this has become an issue.

I think the actor is worthy the royalties from the show, of course. I think it is rather slimey to try to cut the actor out of agreed upon earnings. I think there should be a big penalty for companies who do this to discourage accounting tricks.

I think that if he is owed the money then he deserves to get it. I wonder though what makes him think that the studio is lying to him about how much he should be getting in royalties. He may be onto something, or he might just be broke and hoping that he can prove they lied.
