Well, I'm not so sure. It seems like an anti-latnio judge on first glance. Diggin into it a little more, I see that it had the approval of a leading member of the latino community. So, I guess, if that guy agrees with it, I'm find with it.

If you went to Mexico, they would have no sympathy for the fact that you can't speak Spanish. You would have to learn it yourself, on your own time. I can't stand the fact that so much of the taxpayers' dollars are being spent to teach these kids English in our schools. WTF?! Why can't their parents ensure that they know English before they swim the river? If they're going to be here, d@mn skippy I think they should be forced to learn English. I don't think my sons should be forced to learn Spanish in their own ENGLISH-SPEAKING country just to get by in life. That's backwards. If the American citizens don't shape up and demand that others learn our language in addition to us learning theirs, our national tongue will be changed from English to Spanish. How d'ya like them apples?

I am not sure how I feel about it being a part of their sentence. I think that if you are going to be living in the United States or any other country then you need to learn the language that is native to that country. I would not want to live in a country where I could not speak the language. I can't see why anyone would want to.
