Can you Explain VCC

Virtual Credit Cards. I'm really confused about them.
The only reason i want to know about them because i need to add a credit card to my paypal account and the problem is i would use a real credit card but i can't because i registered the paypal account with first name and last name something else. I can't change it.
So i don't understand the VCC , like you know when you add a credit card you have to include
Name...Card Number...Type..Expiry date Does it come with that?

Can't you make your life simpler?
Apply for another Paypal account, this time with your actual name in correct order.
Transfer all the money from the other account into you newly applied correct paypal account.
Submit your bank account and credit card details and start your life anew.

Well, that's new. I don't have this problem at all so far. Your limited here may be due to the maximum per transaction rather tan the minimum, please check. I think as far as you are not transfering well over the limit I do not think there is a problem. Also, I can fully transfer into another Paypal without any problem even clearing out the entire account. I suggest that you check again.

If not then I would suggest that you apply for a Debit card instead and your problem would then be over. Afterall, you will find it more useful than a 1 time VCC which is just giving out your personal details and gawd knows what that establishment might do with it.

what do you mean. you have put a false name to your paypal account. or are you trying to add a credit card which is not yours. well if you want , you can close you paypal account. then sign up again, in case you want to change the paypal identification.
well vcc, is a card with credit card number only. it is only one time use. to be used for verifying your paypal account. that's it. and nothing more.
well you can used debit card. if you don't have a credit card. which i think is really more easy to do than buy a vcc card.

We can't do anything to the account , its limited and there is money in it.
I can't add my own credit card because the account has a different name , and like i said i can't change the last name.
Will a VCC work? Like i really dont understand , you only get the credit card number? What do you put in for the other fields then.
