Hi coly, I am a Chinese from Malaysia. Since childhood I have been reading story books till now. Of course I liked reading the legends and fairy stories when I was a little girl liked The Journey to the West which was about the Monkey God. Legend of White Snake was another attractive story book which I had read when young. Later on I read many story books and documentaries written by Chinese authors. After I had married I like watching those soap operas VCD which were mainly related to the history of china. They were really attractive and wonderful historical stories. I had learnt lots of information about china by watching them. Now there is a tv channel, cctv 9 which is available here and it is one of my favorite channels. By watching it daily during my leisure I could learn many things about china, including ancient and the latest. I had been to china several times few years back. The first trip I visited Beijing, followed by shanghai and huangshan trip, and then the hunan and guanxi trip. The last trip was Sichuan and yuannam. Every trip my husband and I spent about three weeks there. I hope I could witness the coming grand summer olympic games. Happy posting and bye.

Chinese traditional culture based on the philosophy of
culture, and religion in general, compared to the
advantages of traditional Chinese culture lies in its
philosophy science reveals the perspective of the
universe, social, and the nature and meaning of life, is
the full reasoning, but also empirical people, these are
not ordinary religious way, can be easily explained.
Therefore, it is different from ordinary religious, its
charm lies in the religious than the general more
convincing. An ordinary religious beliefs are built on the
basis of, and only through the devout believe can feel the
presence of God, not ask, do not ask why, what is the
truth.

Oh,this maybe a misunderstanding. Most of our Chinese people will not do this kind of things in fact, this is definitely not our habit. At least I don't see people eat cats, maybe some people spit in public, but its amount is very little.I think everycountry there are people spit, and the amount will not be very much.
