Ever heard of a Japanese Kai-Ken dog? They are rare in the US. they kinda resemble a chow because of the tail and the black tongue. My husband and i rescued one from hurricane katrina. He was found,stranded on a roof-top. We named him "MARDI" cause he came from new orleans. (MARDI GRAS) HA HA! He has turned out to be the best pet in the whole world; we love him very much.
