referral sites

do you guys use referral sites such as getref, simplerefs, etc? do they work for you? i've had a couple referrals join my programs from these sites, but i find that i spend so much time just trying to get credits to promote my programs, rather than actually getting referrals.
any hints!?

I always find that referrals that sign up as a result of reading my blog or who knowme already tend to be much more active than any I get from Buyrefs or getrefs. I have recently bought unreferred members from Bux.to and have found that to be doing well for me at the moment - they are mainly active (and the replace the inactive ones after a week) and they are earning $29 on average a day so in about 12 days time I will have made back the money that I spent.

I use getref and starreferrals. I have had success on both. I did pay for referrals when I first joined getref, but then I decided to go gold and you get double points for doing it. This was the fastest way for me to get credits.
Also, if you build up your downline, your downline helps you earn ever more credits.
