So what instrument/s do you play and how long have you been playing for? Were you ever forced to learn an instrument as a child? Is your family musically orientated?
Me personally, I've been having piano lessons from when I was 7...I'm now almost 19 years old. I started teaching myself flute 2 years ago and I seem to be playing that in various church bands more than piano. Neither or my parents are musically talented, but my grandpa (dad's side) is.

first, our family's first and second generation is not really musically orientated, but the third generation, where i belong is so much musically orientated, since music is one of the frustration of our parents, many of my cousins are forced, but im not one of them, i enjoy playing instruments. i learned to play piano at 8, flute at 9, violin at13, and i almost forgot i learned to play the harp before i go to school.

You learned the harp? That's awesome! You are quite musically talented, so not fair. Do you still play all of these instruments or just 1 or 2?

I learned to play the violin when I was in fourth grade. I also know how to play the piano.

I would love to learn the violin. I have a friend who can play it and it's so amazing. Thanks for responding.
