What is your favourite song and why?

My favorite song is "I Will Survive" because it reminds of how strong I really am. I also like Somewhere Over the Rainbow..and The Rainbow Connection, too for that matter. LOL.

SHINE by the collective soul, its like like a prayer for the Almighty one. thats how that song gets to me. a song of hope that what ever life we had right now heaven will give us a light and hope to go on. just have faith. SELLING THE DRAMA by live, its a song of wisdom. its hard to explain why i like this one but i like it.

my favorite song is "crawling" from the band Linkin Park. Because It feels like heaven when I hear Linkin Park songs. When I get depressed or surrounded by sadness and nothing goes in my way this songs helps me a lot to get back my confidence. The pain and feeling of sorrow in the songs are awesome. Anyone can't express it very simply. If you want to know about it then you have to feel it from your open heart. I am a true Linkin Park fan. Did you ever listen to Linkin park. I love any song that Bob Seger plays. My favorite is "Turn the Page." It reminds me of my husband. It is about a motorcyle rider and my husband was killed on a motorcycler. He is the one that got me to love Bob Seger. He was a huge fan.

I like the song "Madi don't leave" by PlayRadioPlay. I actually named my daughter after that song. Her name is Madison, but we call her Madi, after that song. I absolutely loved it. I don't know why. I just got obsessive over it before she was born.

My favorite song is My Way by Old blue eyes the words in that song are so true to my life. I love "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" as well...and when I was a kid always watched Wizard Of OZ...it wasn't until much later in life that I really "got" the meaning of the movie at least...so often wet think that somewhere "out there" is the source of our happiness instead of where we are right now..Dorothy in effect, went on what Joseph Campbell called the "hero quest" going through trials and often in "danger"...all hero quests involves a growing, an understanding of the psyche...when Dorothy comes back to Kansas, she realizes that her real happiness was right where she was...home..But yes we all yearn for that happiness or peace, sometimes not realizing it is often within right where one is another song that gets to me, and for some reason has me crying like a baby..."When you wish upon A Star"--I even cry at the end of Close Encounters of The Third Kind..as it plays that when the main character is being taken into the mother ship of the aliens...yeesh

Mine is Bob Seger - Still the Same. It has a lot of sentimentality for me. My son-in-law bought the record - he had every one up to that point that Bob Seger had recorded. The day he bought it he playe it for me. He played it again as I was leaving my daughters house. I could hear it as I drove away. The next day my son-in -law was killed in a tragic accident. That was August 1978 and when I hear the song today it still brings tears to my eyes.

The song I like best is the song of a Chinese singer, zhoujielun .The name of the song is QingHuaci . The lyric is very beautiful and the music is very beautiful ,too.I often go sleepint with it. I think you will lovw it.

Hi Litleowl, your choice is such a beautiful song. I enjoy many songs but I think my all time favourite is 'Vincent' by Don McClean. The song was written about Vincent Van Gogh, the lyrics are beautiful but sad also as it is about how he suffered for his sanity and how he took his own life because people couldn't understand his creativity. Wow Littleowl that is a beautiful song, I can see how it would give you hope and lift your spirits. I have a few favourite songs. One of them is Mr Jones by Counting Crows. The main reason is it reminds me of the good times I used to have partying with my best friend, we used to request that song heaps when we went out and danced to it. Those were the good old days. At the moment I love the new song Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis, for two reasons as I love to belt out the tunes and sing also I can relate to the song.

My favorite song is Stay the Same by Joey McIntyre.He is a former member of the group New Kids on the Block. The song is believing in what you can do and keeping your faith alive. I listen to that song everytime I am down and I don't feel good about myself. It reminds me that I am a unique person and special in my own way. This song would really boost your confidence and spirit.
