This movie starring Matthew McConaughey is definitely a tearjerker. It is a sad true story about a whole football team and the staff that was killed in a plane crash. This is not just a sports movie. It is about a small town that is forced to cope with their losses and move on.
Matthew McConaughey plays the team's new coach. He does an excellent job portraying that role. It is unlike any role that I remember him playing. I am hoping to see more roles like this for Matthew McConaughey.
What did everyone think of this movie?

Thanks for the recommendation and I'll keep the tissue nearby when I do. I haven't gotten to see it yet. I wanted to but haven't and was glad to get a heads up on it. thanks again.

You are deinately right. This movie was a tearjerker. I cried during most of it. Even the good parts were so moving, that it made me sob. I usually never pay attention to actors, but Matthew McConaughey caught my eye as a most sincere man. I wonder if he is like this in real life? It was a good role for him.

I loved We are Marshall, so sad, I love movies based on true stories. It was a different role for Matthew McConaughney, I thought he did very good.
