I just finished a book called "The Black Sun" by James Twining. It was very good. It deals with some crimes that seem unrelated but turn out to deal with a hunt to find a lot treasure the Nazi's had. What the treasure is though you don't know for sure and it keeps you guessing as to who the bad guys and good guys are. I like that, when I don't figure everything out before the characters. Not sure what I'm going to read next.

Oh yes, I remember reading a bit about Lenin's theories on how there is a constant cycle of colonization in which the mother country steals the resources of the colony in order to appease the upper classes in its own lands. Something with the periphery and the core. Ah, it was awhile ago. Anyway, I'm currently reading On The Road by Jack Keruoac. A bit too romantic for me (not in the lovey-dovey sense, but in the romanticism sense), but I like the whole drifter/wanderer theme.

I'm actually reading a book about counseling and mentoring employees, a book about rethinking mid-life for men and I just picked up a book about creating mega-communities. I'm not a big fan of Lenin, but I've been to his tomb...(Vladimir, not John)

I don'treally read a certain person's book...what I do is just read the back of the book and see if it sounds like something that I would like to read and if I think it is I will try it out for a little bit to see if I can get interested and if I can't then I just put it down and try again on another book...but again I am not a big reader so that doesn'treally happen that often I think that the last book I started was a murder mystery and I couldn't really get into it so I just ended up laying it down....
