HP or Toshbia

I much prefer Toshiba, and my bf (a computer technician) recommended it above a lot of other brands, including HP, when I was looking at buying. I've had it for over 2 years now and it's still going strong. I haven't had any problems with it and won't need to upgrade for at least another year or two (and only then as I've run out of HDD space). But also, in my area, for me getting my computer fixed would be easy as Toshiba's can be fixed without having to be sent interstate which means I would be without a computer for 2-3 days instead of 2-3 weeks.

I have a Toshiba but only because it was the best tablet PC out on the market at the time. it works pretty well and I have no "real" complaints about it but I don't have other tablet PCs to compare with and it was my first Toshiba. I've never had an HP computer but I have always used HP printers and one or two CD\DVD drives from them and I've always liked my HP products.

I like to have HP simply because of its service and the products are really good
