If that day I get up so early like five or six in morning then Yes, I might take a nap in afternoon that day....but then again, it also depends if I feel very tired that afternoon or if I am busy with work and housework that day. And if I do then I would have about two or three hours. ^^

Hi pinky..
Well i am never used to take naps in the afternoon.
The simple reason being, that now i am a working guy so most of my afternoons are spent in the office. But anyway, i am not used to go to sleep in the afternoon unless and until i feel extremely sleepy or i dont have anything else to do.
Weekdays are soent in the office and weekends wither go away looking after the household activities or may be we friends will plan out for a movie or visiting malls. on weekends we hardly get up in the morning. It would be already 11 or 12 in the afternnon by the time i would leave my bed.
Ya in college days, i would use to go back to hostel to sleep in the afternoon after attending boring lectures provided that i dont have any important lecture that i would be missing. I would bunk most of the lectures in college to have a nap in the afternnon probable for an hour or two.

I wun wanna take nap in the afternoon unless i've no choice.. Because it will affect my whole sleeping habit as well as making me more tired instead of fresh.. hehe ^_^
I used to take afternoon naps when i work from 7am-3pm.. PLus i only sleep at 1-2am, so with just 4-5 hrs of sleep everday, i have no choice but to nap during the few months..
After i stopped working there, i no longer take naps ^_^

Well yeah i do take short naps , which deffinetly will help in reducing the stress you had in the early hours of the day. As soon as you get back to work after the small nap you definetly will feel more energetic and active. Yeah finally it should be a small lap and not a long one coz it might affect your sleep in the night as well as u might end up feeling lazy.

I usually take naps in the afternoon when I happen to have stayed up late the night before. My body just leads me to a bed at home and there I sleep for I guess an hour or so.
Then, I'd have a problem later again the following evening since I have slept during the afternoon earlier..

Hello itsmepinky. I take a nap an hour after lunch every day. A short nap keeps me active and refreshed in the afternoon and evening. It is very important for me to have an afternoon nap, especially when I have to work, because I need a fresh mind and good energy for my work. But if I do not have to go to work, a long nap will find there on bed.

i usually take a nap in the afternoon..probably for an hours time just to relax...but i have heard from people that taking naps in the afternoon will make a person to put on more weight..to know if its true i had gone to ask doctors advice..some feel it does make people to put on weight some doctors oppose it..still i cannot come to a conclusion on this..it has become a debatable issue..anyways i have cut short my afternoon naps and have decided to spend time on mylot or hear songs, browse the net..

Hi Pinks,
I can never nap or sleep in the afternoons. If I have not had proper sleep for some days continuously or if I was sick or some thing, I sleep off but not 20- 30 minutes nap. That I never can. Instead I go and lie down, close my eyes with a cotton swab soaked in rose water for 10-15 minutes. That's enough to freshen me up. have you tried this before, it is
actually better than napping and thinking all the time about getting up after 30 minutes. I can never do that.

I don't like to take naps in the afternoon. It's because after I took a nap, I will become more sleepy than before. So normally, if I feel tired, I will drink more water or wash my face to be awake. I'm the kinda person that will be more energized when given a task to work on.
