meeting people

Hi all
Do you ever want more in life then just money. Like someone to share it with like friend or lover. Most of us would say yes, But how do you meet anyone to make friends with them hmmm. One may say go to a bar, but everyone's drunk, and may not remember you one would say. Ok, now what.. just walk up to someone and say hi, Hmm I am from VA and back home when I was younger it was ok to do that , but try it now and most people think you are crazy. So what should you do??

I met my boyfriend online, i was very young and looking back it was pretty stupid of me but now weve been together 4 years and have our own house so i dont regret any of it. I think the internet is a good place to meet as long as you can get proof that the person is who they say they are. You can talk over a matter of time and get to know someone before you take it further.
