what sort of discussions would you like to see on mylot?

I think the best subjects are those which are inclusive, rather than restricted to any particular culture, so people of all nationalities and background can participate. There are obviously some interests which will only get responses from people who share that particular interest. I don't mind those, but in the more general interest topics I think it's nicer to have discussions which are open to everyone. Generally I think myLot has something for everyone and I may not want to get involved in some dicussions but I can always find plenty of others to respond to.

Having been on many chat sites, I have found that regardless of what is posted, there is sometimes someone who will find offence. It's the way of the world. As a Zen practitioner, my intent is not to judge - but it is not always easy! :-)

i think we need to start about health , children it will be bettre & some good news from our country to avoid deleting our discussion.because sometime we even dont know that we offen already.

I think there is a good overall cover of most subjects, now we seem to have less of the whats your fav color? or how many times a day do you floss? and how hard do you push to pooh? etc etc there seems to be a greater variety of topics. It is difficult to please everyone and yes some topics do offend, I find if this affects me I have to respond, if not I just let them all roll along nicely and I respond to those which catch my eye. At present i'm having a writers block and nothing comes together in my mind so rather than posting a silly topic i'll wait till i'm refreshed and start again. I feel the clouds lifting so it wont be long till i'll be back on all cylinders. Maybe the admin at mylot could have a topic of the day and select one thing each day for people to give opinions on not as in (todays hot topics) but one which they could post for any members to contribute to. I think topics about Global warming is a one great of discussion. We have to take seriously the problems we encounter what happen to our natural resources and to our climate and calamities we experienced. We have to have our part on saving the earth because this is the place we can only live in and also this is for the future of human kind.

In my case, I like to see discussions about relationships, life, the real deal perhaps. I want to deal with politics and the latest news in the society as well. Hobbies and wonders of man and nature are also good topics.
