What you do to while away this summer heat !!!!

I was in chennai last weekend and there was a lot of rain. I'm in Trichy now and the situation is back to being really hot and humid. I just drink a lot of water and try to avoid going out in the sun. I need to have a bath twice daily too. And its only March - i shudder to think how May will be!

People living in Chennai, India are blesed with sea breez set after 03.00p.m. every day. But people living other parts of Tamil nadu, they have no option except to have sweat ilike stream. People having afford they will go to A/C room. Others totally depend upon Fans only. If there is powercut during nights they will spend sleepless night.

I hate the humid climate. Fortunately I live in Bangalore which is like air conditioned city and extreme being around 33 to 35 degree celsius in peak of summer. My wife haisl from coastal area like chennai and it is very hot and humid. Unfortunately she can go to her hometown only in summer because that is the time my son gets holidays. I hate to visit any place during peak of summer.I rather prefer to to be in Ooty or Kodai or Nandi hills.

I plan on trying to keep our attic fan on and making lots of freezer ice pops (I forgot the name of them)in order to keep my kids happy and cool. Taking cool bathes will also help with the heat. I also plan to workout so that it doesn't seem as hot.

I'll trade you for alittle of that heat and you can have some of my snow. Actually you could have it all if you want. It was -12c overnight and hopefully we will be above 0c which is 32f. I do look forward to the warmth of summer.
