Well first of all i just wanted one...then my son camre along ...i was so happy...then i felt a bit broody...so i pleaded with hubby to have another child...well little did i know that we were going to have twins¬¬....so we had 3 in the end...
3 is quite enough for me to cope with....they all needed attention and cuddles etc...so 3 was finr for us!!
I think big families are good though...i always envied my friend who had oodles of brothers and sisters....but lol she hated being one of a big family!

It really all depends on the member, some of my cousins are not happy having 2 siblings while I would be happy having 2 more.
My eldest wants to have a brother but she got a sister instead. I am happy with both my girls but a son would be a welcome addition.

I would like to have at least two. Now I have a son. I want a daughter too. It is definitely not a good thing to have only one kid in the house. I see all the time my son needs sisters and brothers to play with. And more, if there is only one kid in the house, all of our love will make him selfish.
But unluckily, here we can have only one child. The one-child-only policy.

Most of us want two at least - a boy and a girl. I've seen a documentary show that discussed the Brat academy in China and one reason for having a brat is giving all your love and all things you can give to your only one child, neglecting that they need more of your time and love. Some really pay the government just to be allowed to have another child and it was not fair for me but then, we cannot just undo what our government has made.

I want to have three kids. I don't care if they're boys or girls although I would like at least one of each. If that doesn't happen I'll get over it. The reason I would like to have three kids is that I've learned something interesting in my human sexuality class a long time ago. Now because people are only having two kids we have oldest kids and babies. Oldest kids know how to get what they want by being bossy. Babies know how to get what they want by being cute. It's middle kids who are the world's negotiators within and without their families. Given all the difficulties the world is having, can we really survive with no negotiators?

I'm trying to decide between 2 and 3.
I think the more kids you have, the less time, energy and $$ you have for each one. (At least for me personally.)

hi chrysz!
i only want two, a girl and a boy. that's the ideal number for me. we are four in the family and i actually think its already crowded. ^__^;; and i think having two kids would be easier because i would give them equal time and attention and there wouldn't be any envy and competition since they are different, a son and a daughter, different in interests and all. it would be easy to cater to their needs. and its fun imagining that the son would be clinging to the father while the daughter will be clinging to the mom or maybe the other way around, one for each parent.

Oh i am now raising two daughters, my eldest have inclination for vehicles - train to be exact. She has a thomas train set and wants to built a train empire someday so she was asking me if there are train engineers in the Philippines which I am not sure of. She even wants to be in the aeronautics. She prefers match box cars over her dolls and tea sets. I just hope when I could have a boy someday, he will be like her sis or a little more active than her or else, I might have a heart attack because she is very hyperactive and boyish. I'm just glad she hasn't learned how to box and kick her playmates.
