i need some help

does anyone know how to fix the speakers that connect to your computer? they was working fine last night and this morning when i turned them on it sounds like there are chimpmunks inside them. how do i get this fixed

Maybe the cable u plug into soundcard (audio out) get broke inside. u can tried to shake that cable or ur cable not plug right.if ur cable broke inside, u can changes that's audio cable.
The 2nd, maybe ur sound setting have been changes.or the active speaker have been damage.

i replaced the first set of speakers i had and it is still doing the same thing. this is so maddening. i have unpluged and repluged. i have used the air cleaner that you get in the stores to make sure that there is no dust in there and nothing.
where would i go to check out the sound settings that i have as i am not at all good on computers
