the amount of payment we rake in? My sister told me that I have to post quality discussions and respond to some a little lengthily for my earnings to shoot up faster. Is this true?
Some mylotters on the other hand say that you improve your earnings faster by posting discussions, and many people respond to it.
Which is it really? Both?

It really does not seem to make any difference.
I get the same penny for twenty words as I do
for writing one thousand words. I have seen no
corresponding elevation in reward for lots of
responses. Maybe some people are getting a
different payscale that the rest of us ... [shrug]

Hello, Kulaskulasito!
I believe that the length of your response has nothing to do with the amount of money you receive. Not the lenght alone, at least. I believe that it is the quality the main factor that defines wether you are going to earn a lot from your responses or not.
Well, actually, if you create discussions and they are very well responded, I believe that you will also earn a certain quantity of money for it. Mainly, posting pictures is also a way of earning more money, and so is having referrals. The last one can get you 10 Dollars everyday if yo work hard for it, but it's the one that will require you more sacrifice. Why? Mainly because you must search through a lot of people who really believe that this website will pay them, and then you must convince them that joining is a great option, and they must be active. Hard, hard goal. Specially if your friends do not speak English, lol.
Respectfully.

The length has a lot to do with the earnings on this site. I used to respond to discussions with a small sentences but now i've been writing more than before and my earnings have skyrocketed and I am so happy. There have been some members here who have told me to keep writing and to write more than three sentences and i would notice my earnings increase a lot. I guess they were right.

It all counts.
There's a very complex algorithm that myLot isn't giving out, nor should they because people will abuse it.
Be active, respond with a decent amount of thought put into it, if you start a discussion make it halfway interesting and enjoy yourself.
The rest will come ...

I think both are true. First, if you write nonsense or rubbish (not that have done so) or have useless response such as a simple yes or no, you post is likely to be deleted. My lot will guess that you are merely interested on getting paid. Moreover, the more messages you post, the more you are going to increase your earnings. Thus, a combination of both will effectively improve your earnings.
