What Is Something Non Physical, That You Enjoy Doing With Your Husband/Wife?

I enjoy watching movies at night with my hubby. I also enjoy playing board games, shopping or just sitting around talking and laughing with him. I also enjoy traveling with him, as well as visiting museums and things like that...
My favorite time of day has to be after he gets home from work and we just relax together watching TV and discussing what we watch. I also love our weekends together and how we sometimes will go out and just enjoy the day together. What about you? What is it that you most enjoy doing with your spouse, that does not include the physical aspect of your relationship?

My husband and I are best friends. We hae a load in common, we like most of the same things, and we enjoy just sitting and talking together. Tonight we went out for dinner and had a nice conversation, and tomorrow we are going to spend some time at a nearby coffee shop. It's nice to get him out of the house and away from the computer sometimes. LOL

my husband and i share our love for fishing... we could stay hours together without talking and just waiting for something to bite our bait... we also love eating and finding news places to eat, then we share our thoughts and exchange criticisms...
but the thing i enjoy most doing with my husband is arguing... yeah, we love to argue about a lot of things... it's not the violent arguments type, but the type where we debate about why something is better than the other... we can be loud sometimes, and some people who dont know us are surprised when we suddenly go debating... but those who are our friends for a long time will just laugh at us, and even keep score on who makes a better point...

Yes! My husband and I argue/debate like that as well, that's too funny! One of our major debates was over the movie The Lake House and whether or not the ending would have been possible. I remember we had our friend's going crazy over that one lol....

we do alot of stuff so its hard to narrow to just one fave. war weather breaks out the picnic basket and we spend lots of time out in the woods by the river just chit chatting and snacking and enjoying the sun.
we play this dorky sort of game watching law and order or monk.. and whoever solves the who-done-it, wins. the bets differ as to money, or chores done, etc
weve been doing lots home improvements and ripping up floors and demolishing walls, rebuilding, repainting etc together
we play WoW together, and pvp quite a bit. watch movies, listen to music.. pretty much any of the time we spend together is my favorite activity

We like learning new things together and discussing intellectual topics. What makes our enjoyment of these conversations really special is the fact that each of us has areas of interest and expertise that are unique to one but not the other and we also have shared interests and skills. So we can talk about things we know and enjoy together but we can also learn from each other when we discuss topics that are better understood by one than the other. That keeps things fresh.
We know some couples who ran out of things to say to each other because they are so alike and we also know couples who don't talk very much because they are so different. What I enjoy most about my husband is that we'll never run out of things that we enjoy discussing together, just the two of us...and we also don't embarrass each other in public.

Yes, I know what you mean. My husband loves to learn about new things and he loves soaking in knowledge and he is always teaching me about new things and I love those discussions. Of course, sometimes he can go on and on about a subject and it makes me laugh but that's what makes him him and he makes me laugh and I think that's very important in a relationship, being able to make the other laugh...

i know of no couples that do the things you do..so you must have the ideal marriage...i wish i could spend this much time with my mate but i get under her skin and what we do that is fun is go for walks in various locations ..like in the state park by Lake Erie or in a nature trail we can spend a lot of time..or go on pic nics in the park and bring our pet shih tzu..he is four and his name is Reggie..my wife and I used to do a lot of stuff that you guys do..but times change and so do people...but if you can keep doing this type of activities..you are very lucky..my daughter is 37 and my son is 36 and they are 13 months apart..lol..but its the couple that play together ..that stay together...or so it seems...good luck..
it seems the happiest years my wife had were the years of struggle when we had nothing but each other...we both worked a lot together in business (restaurant) and we always spend the weekends together..but we are retired and we still do 24/7 as my wife is a great cook and we don't like to go out in restaurants as we already spent a lot of time in restaurants..but my wife loves to cook and stay home and when we do go out its to nature and take walks...
once we were in Japan and visiting friends and my wife told her friend that she wanted to go for a walk with her husband (me) the friend said why? and my wife told her she enjoys walking with me..and that is what we did but her friend did not understand this..and also we did not go out New Years Eve in Tokyo..(she spent three years in Tokyo working there) and we spend all our holidays and birthdays just the two of us..no friends, no presents,,nothing but each others company...as we have done this since we were married...time is the most important gift you can give a loved one..as time soon slips away..so treasure every moment..and it seems you have the perfect relationship...just keep doing what your doing.

Well, I wouldn't say that we have the perfect relationship, we have our moments but they make us stronger. Of course, we are only coming up on our second wedding anniversary too, so, we are really newylweds still. I hope it will always be like this and we seem to have a solid relationship but you never know...

we like to lay in bed and watch movies together - we also love camping and sitting by the fire together. we had a few fireplace fires this winter, but there's nothing like a campfire!
i can't wait until this summer so we can get our camping in!! we didn't go at all last year so we are really looking forward to it now...
another thing we like to do is make music...both of us play guitar & dabble in it - we dopn't do that too much lately though!
