Male Shovanists

I would like to know form people out there when they consider men to be male shovanists. If a man is always barking orders is he considered a shovanist? What is a shovanist anyway, and how do they know when they have crossed the line.

Let me help you out...the word is "chauvinist", a practitioner of chauvinism. Chauvinism is the extreme and unwavering belief held by a group and often manifested through malice and spitefulness towards members of another group they feel are inferior.

OOOPS my bad, I missed spelled it, but that is OK. But thank you for correcting my spelling of the word. So do you think a man that wants to be in control of most everything would be considered a chauvinist?
