I used to keep a diary, you know, I could write something just to myself, however, this everyday thing became a burden that I had to deal with every other day.So, I gave it up at last. However, I must admit that a diary is quite a good way to speak to my heart, remind myself what I really want, who is really meant for.
So, do you keep a diary?

I attempted several times to write diary but I never follow through on it. Every time I buy a new diary or start thinking of writing, I would write in it for several days then stop & forget all about it. Sometimes I wish I did keep a diary around so I can look back & reflect on my life. But since I usually remember the significant moments in my life, I'm not so bummed about not having one.

Yes I do keep a diary. But's more of a spiritual record of my journey. It's been recommended by my spiritual director for discernment purposes.
I agree that sometimes it becomes a burden. But there is sure joy to get back at those things which I wrote.
I tell you. Just keep it on.

When I was a young boy I keep a diary and record nearly everything I may think of .But with the time fly,I lose the patient and also lose the habit of it.maybe Now I like to keep the record in my heart directly, after all sometimes the writing speed is much lower than human's sense.

Yes, keeping a diary is burdensome to maintain every single day, and you eventually become fed up with the "responsibility" of having to write in it every day, and give up writing in it altogether. But, for some people, it begins bugging you over time as you start to think that, if you don't keep one, there will be little to nothing of you, your memories, your thoughts and your feelings left behind in the world after you go. And so you start keeping one again. Its a somewhat vicious cycle.

Yes, I have been keeping diary for the past one decade or so. It is very useful. I am able to keep the records of people whom I have met, transactions carried out, financial statements, incomea nd expenditure, important events that affect our family etc.
My wife too maintains a diary. Thsi disary contains prices of groceries for the past 15 years. It is interesting to read the old diaries to know the prices prevailed inthose days.

yes, i keep a diary but it is online, and i do not write it on a book. Hehe it is much safer to keep it online cause my mom gets too nosy at times and might read my diary. I prefer to type too as i am able to say more things than when i am writing.
