Do you add tags to every discussion you respond?

I always add tags to the discussions which I respond. Perhaps it can be helpful for the search.

I add tags about ninety-eight percent of the time when I submit responses. The only times i do not add tags are if, for example, my response is only one or two lines. Generally at the end of a long day of posting on mylot my will to add tags has diminised quite a bit. I find it more of a chore than something I enjoy doing. I usualy add about three to six tags with each response. Adding tags amkes your response mroe "complete" and thusly you look better to the algorhythm.

Loading pages is very time consuming on a slow dial up connection - so I do not add the tags to all discussions that I respond to. Often times I look and see that the tags I would have added are already added anyhow - so no sense being redundant. If it is a new discussion and I notice that the original poster did not place tags I will generally submit some myself.

No, I just do it to my own discussions. Maybe I'm a bit more careless than I should be when it comes down to tagging others' discussions. Sometimes, I find myself in a dilemma if I must tag the discussions which are not mine. Am I the best person to tag others' discussions? That is the question. However, if there are totally irrelevant tags attached, I will likely try to better the condition by providing pertinent tags. otherwise, most often I don't.

Yes, I do add tags for each discussion I participate in. When I started it here, I typed on the search bar to look for a discussion I wanted to participate in based on my interest. In time, more and more new members will come, and I am sure the tags will help them jumpstart their MyLot life.

If it's in my interests I usually add tags. But if I'm in a hurry I won't.

Hi subha, when responding to discussion i try to give tags. To get the maximum response to user discussion, i give it with right tags. I never use the tag mature content. Thank you.

I always add tags... especially to the discussion that i started... like you said... it is easier to search or find discussions with tags... When i was new here... i never bothered with the tags... and i think that is one reason why i had some discussions with zero response... i just add tags that are easy to recognize... and are like the main topic of my discussion...

I try to add to tags to discussions, especially if they need them, or I think of some really good tags would help others find this discussion. If I'm in a hurry, or if there are already a slew of good tags, I may not waste the time. No sense in reinventing the wheel.

Hey subha12 Always I try to add tag after all discussion, but some times it is not possible due to network problem or some other reason when I skip. In 80% case I have added tags and rest for skip. pkc3000

since i join for a week ago, i didn't add tags. i don't have a reason why must add tags. except people will say "add tags will help you to increase" i will add tags :)

i'll always add a tags in my every response...i just feel to fill up everything and it's also sometimes a way of giving a descrition on my response hahahaha...

I used to add tags to every single one earlier....but now I usually skip every single one. I read in a discussion somewhere that not everyone likes other people adding tags to their discussion...sometimes people add inappropriate tags. so, I stopped doing it.

I always try to add tags with my response , discussion . I think , if mylot is asking for it then there is some meaning . Like they say , its useful for search some thing here .. But when I don't get anything meaningfull to add or I see so many tags has already added then I skip it ... Thanks !!!

I only tag some discussion if I really like the topic. But mostly I dont tag them.

While i start a discussion,. i tag the discussion, but in responding to posts.. i don't tag for the topics that i have responded.. 'coz.. usually the tags appearing beneath the discussion started will normally have enough tags in it, even i add one.. it won't appear in the thread.. I don't have the feeling that adding tags will enhance our chance of finding quality topics here.. Have a good day.

Yes, like all the time. I thought it's a must! LOL I always try to put tags in every discussion i responded to or started. For me, it helps in organizing the postings here in MyLot.
