Do you use shower gel or soap?

I have both in my shower. I use shower gel for most of my body but I have soap there for the 'really dirty parts', Lol! I have one of those mesh hanging things with pockets and it's full of shower gels and shampoos. Then I have a bar of soap on the soap holder. You could have both there too so you'd both be happy!

I use soap eversince have no doubt that soap really make me feel clean...

We use shower gel. My husband likes Irish Spring bar soap and I have to have that here for him or he has a fit.

It would be the shower gel for me. Long ago, it was soap but nowadays, I think it is so much easier to find gel than soap! I also think it is more hygienic unless you have the soap all to yourself.

I use soap to shower every day. If I decide to soak in the tub, I will use shower gel just for a special treat.

I really like shower gel more than I do bar soap. I think shower gels have more of a scent that I like I buy one that smells liek cocounuts and it gets me clean and makes me smell good at the same time.

I use both soaps. I like to use bar soap to get clean and then I go over it with a body wash. Bar soap tends to dry my skin out and the body wash leaves my skin feeling moisturized.

It's strange the way that people have their irrational preferences. Some soaps leave the skin dried out and tight and perhaps that's what your partner is mistaking for a feeling of "clean". My father is the same actually. Neither is better than the other though, cleanliness-wise. I use both myself. I like soaps from Lush and Villainess because they don't dry out the skin and they smell amazing. I also use a lot of shower gel too. It depends on what the scents and companies are like rather than the form it comes in for me.

Dear Tricia, I mostly use soaps and while travel I just use gel. But I feel mostly had a better bath if I use natural organic product made soaps. May be a soap without much chemicals and good smell would give a better satisfaction after using it.

I use soap in luffa, I feel better after a clean rubdown...

i think both of them can get us clean. i personally prefer to use shower gel. however, there is always a bar of soap in my bathroom. we use it to clean our hand.

I used to use shower gel all the time cause I could not find a bar soap that made me feel clean. I always seem to get a better lather out of the gel. But I decided to try caress bar recently and I really like caress. It makes my skin feel as good as shower gel did and cost alot less.

Ive got to admit Tricia..im a soaper....im old fashoined i expet!!but ive always preffered to use soap...no matter how i try i cant get on with the liquid stuff....though you get a lot that smells delicious....
