Oh yeah!!! i do drink water befor takig any meal!!! and why do I take it!!! because drinking water before taking a meal helps one to digest food!!!as we all know sliva in our mouth helps us to digest food!!! but if you wan't increase this digestion you can drink water before and also with the meal!!!!

Most people don't drink enough water so don't worry about it, as it's a good habit to have.
I drink a glass of water before every meal when I need to lose weight, it fills my stomach and helps me feel full!
If I'm not dieting I still drink a glass, some before and the rest during the meal. Especially if I'm having a sandwich. I love bread but I find it difficult to eat. Sometimes it gets stuck in my gullet and it can be quite painful till I have a drink! It doesn't happen if I drink water.
Drinking plenty of water or other non-caffiene containing liquids can have other health benefits as well. It helps keep the Kidneys and Bladder working properly, reducing the risk of infection. I'm a care-worker and I see a lot of people who have symptoms of mild dehydration or infections and I always try to get them to have a drink of water.

Yes I drink full glass of water before taking any meal, which is very good habit. During the course of taking of meal you should not consume water as it may affect the digestive system. After taking meal near about half an hour later you should take glass then your digestive system will work properly. I am taking glass of water 30 minutes after completing meal. Moreover taking maximum quantity of water is good for body specially in summer season. In winter consumption of water is less in my case as during winter water is very chilled.

Yes, I do have the habit of drinking a bit of water prior to taking a meal. my mother discouraged the practice when we used to go out to eat when I was a girl - as she did not want me filling up on water instead of the paid for dinner. She also did not like me to drink during a meal because either I would fill up on the water OR I will be washing the food down and not feeling like I have eaten enough when I had.

This is funny. I used to have a friend who would always have a drink by her plate, be it water, milk whatever. She would never touch that drink until she was done her entire meal. Then she would down the whole thing.
I always found it strange.
I think it is strange if one doesn't have a drink with their meal. No matter what you are eating, it does become dry.
I have to have my drink right beside my meal always.

No, I don't do that. I usually forget to even get a drink with my meal. Then in the middle I have to get up and get something to drink because I'm thirsty. In fact, you have made me realize that I am thirsty right now and I'm going to go get a drink I left in the dining room. lol

Yes I do that sometimes especially when I think I want to eat not so much food. It helps me to feel full before taking a meal. Its one of my ways to reduce my food intake especially during dinner. Someone told me that and I guess it works for me.

I also have this habit of drinking a bit of water before taking a meal. I don't have any special reason for doing so. I do it autoimatically. I mean its just a habit. When I sit on dinning chair, I take a sip of water and then start having breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Pretty much no.
I guess I might do that if the food is too little and I want to bloat myself up. But otherwise, no.
I drink water throughout the day so I see no need to especially drink some just before each meal.

I take some water before a meal to fill up a bit so I don't "wolf down" too much food. I like a little water with a meal too. I tell people maybe I am part raccoon -- that is a animal that always dips its food in water before eating it. Raccoons are fascinating animals. Do they have them where you live?

I occasionally drink water before eating, but only if I have it readily available. I don't go out of my way to look for it, but if I am at home, I will drink.
