About my future

I met a man whose religion is Taoism. He studies I Ching, which is a very mysterious book in China, it is said that if you learn it well, you can know your future by looking at your face and palm prints and so on.
That man told me something about my future. He said that I will have a good career, but I won't listen to others advice, and I will have only a few friends. He also told me something about what disease I will have, and what will happen in my marriage. Horrible!
Now I always want to prove that what he said was wrong.

one thing you can prove that you will have lot of friends here on mylot, and if the person can tel the future thats good, but always consider it as a advice dont think its a thumb rule.
You yourself can create a good future, our future depends on our deeds, so live and enjoy your life

Thank you. That is what I think. And in his words, it is "even I told you all this stuff, you will still do what you want to do", suggesting that I won't take advice.
