Oh yes I have done this many at time and believe that these acts of kindness are repaid not by the person who you have helped but in the future by another stranger. I remember a girl cryig at a railway station because she had lost her purse and neede to get to a station a few stops down so I gave her the fare. I later found out that she did this all the time by the station staff but it didn't matter it was a few pounds and she got home. On another occasion a guy paid by card and it was declined, he look distraught so I got my purse and paid cash instead he was very grateful and in fact did return a few days later and repay. Your husband was a lovely person to do this for a stranger and I am sure all his help was appreciated. Ellie :D

I have done this before also. I am very weak when it comes to people with children and will always give as I could never turn my back on a child that may be in need of something. I did one time give money and food and toys to a family that said their car had broke down and they were trying to get to their parents house in another state. It was hot outside and the kids did not have anything to do but stand alongside the road with their mom and dad. When I went into the store something just told me to buy food and toys for them, so I did. After giving them the items I had purchased in the store for them I also gave them a little money to help get them by. I sure hope that they made it to where they were going.

Dear friend,
I would it that stranger need money for food, shelter or in order get better from a pity life which I feel so. Moreover for charity purpose and welfare purposes I do had give money. I just like to give money to stranger if I feel there is a solid reason for that person to get that money from me.

There is only one of me, and there are billions of strangers out there. I like to treat everyone equally, so no I will not give money to a stranger. I need to make sure that I take care of myself.

before when i was little we were taught to give money to beggars or strangers, but now that many syndicate are scattered, i choose not to give to any beggars or strangers because i'm not sure if they are telling the truth or not..if somebody ask me for food, i give a food not money, and if somebody ask me for transportation money, i don't give...
now i'm give money to charity donation box found in mcdonalds or malls.. at least i know, my donations will be given to right people... :-)

In my opinion, I support this kind of deeds, because everyone may meet some difficulties when out in our life, including you & I.We help others, that is equal to helping ourselves ,don't we?Just as Ellie said, these acts of kindness are repaid not by the person who you have helped but in the future by another stranger.I think so.Once there was an old man sitting around the gate of our college, who said his granddaughter had had a serious disease and they had spent all their money on her disease. When my friends and I passed,we saw this unlucky man and gave some money to him.Actually, what we did was little to his granddaughter's disease, but if there're more people who can help others ,things will go well.
