What is the most desperate thing you'd be willing to do for money?

Things have been kind of tight lately, and the boyfriend and I have been joking around about things we'll do to find the money. We've been selling off a bunch of our stuff to try to come up with some extra money. I'm curious, what is the most desperate thing you'd be willing to do for money?

I think you should go ho yourself LOL Just Kidding, I dont know. You know ive started a business, we have a 900$ debt in that, and it stays that way because all the money weve been making goes into the business, with more inventory, but we know that doing that will make it easier to pay off that 900$ in the long run. You might have to go get a couple of jobs to catch up or something. I dont know if this will work but it seems to work for some people at the flea market down here, but go to some yard sells, buy some of the cheap used stuff, and go sell it for a little bit more at a flea market.

WEll it may be much differant down here, because of the buyers being mostly mexican, i noticed a lot of the junk yardsell looking ones sold a lot, but there are also a lot of stores that sell stuff like underwear and bras 5 for 10 dollars, or shirts 2 for 20 and jeans 10 to 20 dollars, they have fashion jewelry for 1 dollar a piece (i dont know how, i havent found a cheap wholesaler for those selling that cheap) Were selling stainless steel, pewter, and some sterling silver. mostly rings, some necklaces, and stuff. Its a slow start though, if you have 1000 to put into like we did you should do fine, we started out with only 700$ in and now its -900$ but we have a good inventory. If i were you I would go look around at the one you want to sell at, see if your product is there that you want to sell (we are almost the only one with our product, we use a differnt style to, but it works, you know what people around you like) NOw depending on your product you might have to put more in, but 900$ inventory with jewelry really isnt that much jewelry, but its enough.

Trying your luck at a flea market is a great idea. This is actually something that I have been thinking about. But other than the sporadic one around the corner from me, I wouldn't have the faintest clue where to find a flea market regularly around here. And I don't know what the average flea market goer is looking to buy.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My boyfriend is a musician and he just sold one of his guitars last week so that things would be okay. It broke my heart to let him sell it, but we did really need the money. Pawn shops and things suck too, because you never get anywhere near what you should for what you are selling. At least he sold the guitar to a friend so he got a slightly more reasnable price for it.

i only pawn my guitars, that means i am not ready to let it go. if i am emotionally ready then i will sell it. i sell a guitar before to a friends friend so i know exactly what you mean.

Hehehehe, your answer made me giggle. Mostly because I think I kind of expected that men in general. would be willing to do more things for more money.

I hope your talking about jumping with a bungee cord. There wouldn't be much point in having all that money unless you were going to be around to spend it!
