Our fridge is more than 12 years old and it is set at '2'. This itself makes the fridge cool and frozen with ice cubes. Often we have to put off the fridge and remove ice accumulation, which gives a lot of shapes and we love to see them. Only to keep the veg items cool, fridge is used by us.
I think, the word FRIDGE must have got origin from FREEZE.

Mine is set at 3 out of 7, so I guess that would be...almost between...

Hi MAHESH2008,
I keep my fridge setting between minimum and maximum.
Good Luck.

Our fridge is kind of new. We bought it last September and it's already starting to act all weird and all. It gets too cold! We have it at it's minimum setting, actually, we have the arrow pointing just to the "ON" button. Beyond that, the freezer starts to build up ice. Argh!

The settings of my referegrator varies according to the enviournmental climate prevaling. I keep it on the max in the peak summer season and these settings are then scaled down to a medium range during the month of nov and during the peak winter season i keep it at the bear minimum. The purpose is to keep the food safe and fresh and at the same time not wasting power on what is not required at all.

Our fridge is older, it came with the house. I think it goes from 1-6 and we have it on 4.5 - 5. Any lower and it doesn't seem to cool very well.
