I like detective fiction and my absolute fave author is Agatha Christie, I have over 50 of her novels and short story collections and can read them over and over. I also enjoy Elizabeth George books who writes in the same type of genre but it's more modern day detective fiction.

I am also an Agatha Christie fan. Last Xmas I tested a computer game based on "Evils under the Sun". It's interesting because I forgot the plot. However, the game has some display problems. Otherwise, I would recommend it to other Christie fans. Other detective stories I read are Sherlock Holmes. However, they are more like adventure than detective stories. Haven't read any George's books but will try.

Fantasy, Fantasy/horror, Thriller/suspense and Science fiction. Been that way since I was a kid. Although as kid I also read mysteries including, Bobbsey twins, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Trixie Belden and Megan something. Oh and Encyclopedia Brown (I always cheated and read the answers).

I like historical novels and metaphysical books, which can also be historical in a sense. I also like How-To books. Actually I'm not sure I've ever seen a book I didn't like. They are like the people who wrote them, different, but all interesting in some special way.

I like almost all kind of books from sci-fic to mystery from horror to fantasy or even if its about politics though it gets boring sometimes but i do, even if one is reading history books can be enjoyable at times so much to learn from them aswell so as far as you are learning something from a particular its good for reading all the books contain some moral in it getting to it should be the aim of the reader and not just going through for some story...

I love the scifi. David Weber is one of my favorites and writes military scifi. I like most fantasy and mysteries, too.

I'm a science fiction fan. I also read fantasy and mysteries, even a few romances. I'll read nonfiction too, but only on a few subjects.

I enjoy reading adventure novels, lives of the Saints and religious historical works - which all and all I guess my other interests are adventures as well. exciting!

Science fiction and fantasy, some horror and thrillers. Oh, and a variety of factual books too.

I fancy a combination of crime, mystery, adventure, thriller and fantasy. However a book must be well written with no difficult languages that makes it obscure.
