It leaves an after taste.I have noticed this. It isn't just you. Must be in the food dye. That is all I can figure.

There are some people who can taste things that others cannot. I have never noticed a problem with pink candy, but then again I don't each much candy anymore.

I'm not sure. I eat a lot of candy, and my favorite color is pink so I usually eat a lot of pink candy. I don't think it tastes any different than any of the other colors. Usually if a candy cane or jelly beans are pink it's because they are strawberry or cherry flavored, but I'm not sure about the whole malted milk eggs, I think they're all really supposed to taste alike. Maybe you got the strawberry milkshake ones?

I have never noticed this, but pink jelly beans are one of my favorite flavors. I never noticed that different colored milk eggs tasted different. SOmething to check out though.

Yes, I believe it is an additive or other ingredient type they use in the edible pink coloring dye. Though, I could be wrong. But I do notice the odd taste as well.
