advice needed,13 month and baths..................

I have a 13 month old and oh how she used to enjoy her baths and play and splish and splash in the tub,and all of a sudden about a month ago she started screaming ever time I put her in the tub,No nothing has happened to her in the tub,I'm the only one who baths her,i've tried about everything to help her calm down and enjoy her bath time,has this ever happened to you,and if so do you have any advice to give me on what I could do to help my baby enjoy her baths again.Thanks!

Hi -
The best thing I can thing of is to get some new bath toys? They have lots of great ones for that age. You might also try bath finger paints?
I'm sure you've thought of this, (hope I'm not insulting your intelligence) but of course make sure the water is not too cold.
Also, I personally don't feel you have to give baths every day. In fact, at that age, my son usually just got 2 baths per week, unless he had been playing in the sand, gotten dirty etc.

What about trying to take a shower with her? Its a diffrent experiance than a bath and your right there with her. I did this with my boys whn they were young. It was easier to take a shower with them and we all got clean at one time. {we lived with several people and there was never enough hot water for a bath and a shower} To this day they are 4 and 5 and would rather take a shower than a bath. Just a suggestion.

Your Welcome. LOL! I know it!! You just have to have a good grip on them. And she is old enough to stand on her own so it shouldnt be to big of a problem.
