Anyone here try Kava Kava

Well, I came across a site that sells, this stuff called Kava. It seemed like a good alternative to alcohol, but I was a bit skeptical. So I just ordered a small amount, it says good for 12 servings. For anyone who doesn't know what it is, all I know, not have tried it just yet, I will soon, is pretty much a plant from the Fijis that is suppose to be comparable to booze or pot, without the side effects. Anyone care to share if it was worth my money to buy it, or should I just stick with vodka :P
